Rob Ryan
Rob Ryan studied fine art at Nottingham Trent Polytechnic before going on to an MA in printmaking at the Royal College of Art. A highly acclaimed illustrator specialising in paper cuts and limited edition screen prints, he represented TAG Fine Arts at London Art Fair as part of the gallery’s launch in 2007. Since then, Ryan’s elaborate paper cuts have appeared in collaborations with high profile designers in the fashion world including: Tatty Devine, Liberty’s of London, Ernest Sewn, Paul Smith, Vogue, and now illustrate his book ‘This Is For You’, a fairy tale told through paper cut art. Originals from the book are available from TAG as well as an extensive range of paper cuts and screen prints. Ryan will be exhibiting for the first time at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park in November 2009 and is currently involved in a major museum paper show, 'Slash - Paper Under the Knife' at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York.
