James Tye
Tye’s photographic portraits of perspiring and bruised boxers fresh from the ring are compelling and jarringly spiritual. The photographer portrays these pugilists as Olympian-esque athletes, both violent and beautiful at the same time.
Tye completed his Masters in Photography at the London College of Communications in 2007 and has recently been nominated for the Independent Photographers Terry O’Neil Award.
