Chris Humphreys

Chris Humphreys’ distinctive wood cuts of birds and animals have been exhibited widely in the UK, including the 2009 Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and the Northern Print Biennale, to which he was personally invited to contribute. Humphreys’ sophisticated understanding of pattern and colour, combined with his mastery of the difficult and time-consuming woodcut technique, produces prints that are full of vibrant detail and character.
