Nigel Peake studied architecture and works in the countryside. His recent artwork tackles subjects as diverse as cycling, farms, university campuses and great cities such as London. Peake’s drawings are simultaneously delicate and bold, often working in combination as parts of a series or pages in a book. London Crossings explores the city’s bridges. Like so much of the capital, they exist as a tangle of routes and connections, picked out in different colours like transport maps or diagrams.
