Peter Dean

Peter Dean is a designer living and working in London. Over the past two years he has created two stunning letterpress prints, inspired by two disparate and yet instantly recognisable British icons; John Lennon and Stephen Hawking.

In 2013 Dean worked alongside notable wood-engraving artist Andy English and letterpress expert Graham Bignell, of New North Press, to painstakingly recreate the circus poster that inspired John Lennon to write the song ‘Being for the Benefit of Mr Kite!’ For more information please see the press release.

Dean’s most recent print, Time Travellers Invitation, has been created with the approval of renowned physicist Stephen Hawking as part of a real-time travel experiment. Please click here for the full story.
