Stephen Davids

Davids’ work is a complex fusion of opposites. His style combines childlike doodles with controlled graphic line. His images exude a sense of innocence and fun that is counterbalanced by suggestions of confusion and solitude. His work is a hybrid, mixing ‘Art Brut’ naivety, sophisticated caricature and auto-biographical self-expression.
