There are 57 pictographic clues on 'The London Rebus' and you don't even need to know how to read to solve them.
Applying this ancient form of puzzle to the map of London the city becomes a beguiling collection of pictographs. Were it not for the river Thames snaking through the centre of the image London is practically unrecognisable, appearing to be nothing more than a strange lattice of Egyptian Hieroglyphs. However, the presence of the City starts to appear as the viewer slowly ( or quickly ) deciphers these visual clues revealing the names of London’s familiar landmarks and neighbourhoods.
