Amy-Jane Blackhall
Amy-Jane Blackhall (b. 1987) is a printmaker who is fascinated with the concept of interconnectedness and repetition. Blackhall explores structures and symbols in her work, often surrounding natural motifs, using a range of printmaking techniques including etching, polymer gravure, and woodblock, to reflect on the aesthetic appeal of universal, shared imagery.
Amy-Jane Blackhall is represented by Rabley Gallery and in 2016 was the recipient of the West Yorkshire Print Workshop Flourish Award for excellence in printmaking. Blackhall's works have been exhibited across the UK, and alongside her practice she has runs her own independent editioning press, the 'Ink on Paper Press'.
