This new avenue for the artist uses the infinity mirror as a medium that interrupts the image and is a representation of the cyclical nature of fashion. As light passes through the glass, it loses its potency with each reflection, resulting in the images fading backwards into nothingness.
Ultimately, like man, the image slowly ceases to exist and fades away. The viewer’s perception is called into play with the notion that everything dies so nothing matters, or, that everything dies so everything matters, and is therefore precious. The artists use of Gold would suggest that everything is precious if we believe it to be so.
