Ortaire de Coupigny is a visual artist hailing from Brittany, France, where he currently resides near the sea. Ortaire studied Fine Art at Cherbourg and has since become a renowned artist for his unique tin designs created through concentrated pigments, which he then immerses in paraffin and encases in a clear resin.

Ortaire's exceptional blend of materials and techniques has earned him recognition and admiration worldwide. His works have been displayed in various prestigious shows, including the Royal Academy of London, as well as exhibitions throughout France, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Singapore.
