Katsutoshi Yuasa: Miraculous opens this week at the ISE Cultural Foundation. Curated by TAG Fine Arts' co-founder Diana Ewer, it is the artist's first solo exhibition in a New York institution. Yuasa's prizewinning work uniquely combines time-honoured woodcutting techniques with digital photographic aesthetics and elusive poetic narratives. We have produced a catalogue to accompany the exhibition.

"Printmaking was a medium for communication and information. Tradition is important but we should think also about future traditions. Contemporary printmaking should have the universality of photography. We need to talk about printmaking without technique."
