London Original Print Fair 2026
The London Original Print Fair, which is London’s longest-running art fair, will return to Somerset House in May 2026 for its 41st edition! LOPF continues to play a vital role in championing the art of printmaking, showcasing a diverse array of talented artists and promoting the print as a meaningful medium within the ever-changing contemporary art scene.
Last year was especially significant for us, as it marked the launch of David Spiller's silkscreen edition 'Sweet Dreams', a classic portrayal of his love for cartoon icons and the punchy aesthetics of Pop Art.

This year, we are particularly thrilled to highlight the works of our featured artist, Adam Dant. We will be working in collaboration with Rabley Gallery, exhibiting Adam Dant’s ’Turner’s London’ (2025) and ’The Secret History of Somerset House’ (2024) in Room S5 in the South Wing! This is a wonderful opportunity to experience Dant's unique figurative style and the stories these pieces convey about London’s rich history through his own imaginings of city life.
Our previous collaboration with Rabley Gallery during the group exhibition 'When The East Wind Blows' is a perfect example of how meaningful partnerships can enhance appreciation of print art and engage collectors and art enthusiasts alike. This exhibition, held from June 2nd to August 28th, successfully brought together a diverse collection of works exploring different practices of Japanese woodcut, fostering engaging discussions about the evolving world of printmaking.
'The Secret History of Somerset House' stands out as one of Dant’s finest examples of chronicling contemporary London life through densely packed and witty visual narratives. This work masterfully captures the interconnected history of Somerset House, while also skilfully blurring the lines between past and present. As Dant states, “Somerset House is dense with secret histories”, revealing his motivation for this work to function as a “handy key” for viewers. Dant creates a visual archive that not only documents the building's significance but also conveys the feeling of time travel.

The second work by Dant, “Turner’s London,” is a map that celebrates the 250th anniversary of JMW Turner's birth, despite his exact birthdate still being a matter of some debate, detailing significant spots around the city that were significant to the renowned artist's life and career.

In addition to these works that will be exhibited at the fair, we are also excited to announce that Dant's upcoming print titled 'Londog' will be launching soon. This work is another example of his distinct figurative style blended with a wry tone, perfectly complementing his previously released print at last year's RA Summer Exhibition, 'Capital City', which has already sold out. More info coming soon!
