Mind the Map at the London Transport Museum
The London Transport Museum's major group show 'Mind the Map: Inspiring Art, Design and Cartography' opens on Friday 18 May.
The exhibition looks at how cartography has shaped and been shaped by London's transport systems. As well as drawing from its extensive collection of antique and modern maps, the museum has commissioned several contemporary artists - including Claire Brewster, Jonathan Parsons, Susan Stockwell, Stephen Walter and Jeremy Wood from TAG Fine Arts - to create new works in response to the theme.
