Simon Patterson

Commissioned by the London Transport Museum for their major group exhibition ‘Mind the Map’ in 2012, Simon Patterson’s ‘Saptarishi’ revisits his iconic work ‘The Great Bear’ from 1992, updating the constellation of famous names for a new decade. The screenprint on enamel is a limited edition of 15, and its first exhibition with TAG Fine Arts at the London Art Fair 2013 coincided with celebrations surrounding the 150th anniversary of the London Underground.
