Tessa Shaw
Tessa’s ethereal and atmospheric artworks, created using the early photographic technique of cyanotype, arise from a desire to preserve that which cannot be saved; the feeling of sun on your face, of leaves crackling underfoot, and of cold wind on bare arms.
Her practice developed whilst studying the early photographic image makers, whose techniques present imperfections that capture the unknown possibilities of the photographic moment, and the mystery of process.
Tessa studied photography at Central Saint Martins and has exhibited at Burgh House, Hampstead, the London Art Fair, Islington and Multiplied, Christie’s South Kensington.
