"I have always been fascinated by questions related to Identity and Belonging, as well as the constantly changing meaning of borders and boundaries. The way that 'soft' and 'hard' borders get formed and their constant changes shaping our life and future. I grew up on the other side of the Iron Curtain and witnessed these changes and the power of borders personally as well as the urge for the freedom to travel which is a fundamental foundation of creativity. This piece of Europe surrounded by a circle of 50 passports of Independent European states, including transcontinental countries such as Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey as well as politically European countries such as Armenia and Cyprus, celebrates the importance of union and freedom in a world of political uncertainty."
