Adam Bridgland

Described as ‘your favourite leisure time artist,’ Adam Bridgland investigates the notion that holiday-making is just another ordinary activity, and the holiday itself a fantasy that rarely lives up to our expectations. Rejoicing in the mundane, he turns to colouring books, travel guides and scout camp paraphernalia for his visual and emotional inspiration. His work is kitsch and humorous, but also poignant, touching on familiar, peculiarly British sentiments.
